One- or two-day sessions educate directors on proven planning structures, strategic issues, and how to determine future bank direction. Agendas can be customized to fit into a bank's existing retreat format, or banks may opt to use Bank Director's experience to develop an effective event. Resources are available on most topics or specialties.

Each module runs 1-2 hours. Modules include:  (1) role of a director; (2) basic banking information; (3) banking system; (4) banking regulation; (5) business planning; (6) asset/liability management; (7) mortgage banking; (8) commercial and commercial real estate lending; (9) human resources; (10) marketing; (11) business development; (12) customer service.

Credit Hours:1 to  2 Hours/Module

Provides directors with financial measurement and evaluation tools.   Topics will include:  balance sheet analysis; asset quality; capital resources; income statement analysis; financial ratio and performance analysis; risk exposure; market and other considerations; and a discussion of supplemental reports.
