ARRANGED CORE COURSES

To arrange for an approved one- or two-day core course program for your entire Board of Directors (or for several local bank Boards of Directors simultaneously) to be held at your bank or in your town, call AABD at 301-263-9841.

The core course program will be presented by either an AABD staff member or AABD will arrange for a third-party presenter.

Timing and financial arrangements are made entirely between you and the Provider. If your bank makes arrangements for a core course with someone other than an AABD staff member or someone AABD has arranged and desires credit for its Board of Directors, please request the person to call AABD so that AABD may evaluate their subject matter.

NOTE: NOTIFY THE IBDE OFFICE AT (301) 320-0643 AS SOON AS YOU SCHEDULE AN ARRANGED CORE COURSE. THE IBDE OFFICE MUST VERIFY THE COURSE TIMING AND CONTENT PRIOR TO GRANTING CREDIT. IF YOU FAIL TO NOTIFY THE IBDE OFFICE IN ADVANCE, YOUR CORE COURSE MAY NOT MEET IBDE STANDARDS, AND YOU MAY NOT RECEIVE CREDIT FOR IT.
