This useful and practical information is now available in a special section of this web site called “Director’s Corner.” The “Director’s Corner” includes items such as Interagency Policy Statements, Supervisory Guidance, and Financial Institution Letters on the topics of Corporate Governance Practices, Auditing and Internal Controls, Accounting Practices and the Allowance for Loan and Lease Losses, and other areas of interest to bank directors. The FDIC’s “Pocket Guide for Directors,” which provides directors with accessible and practical guidance for meeting their duties and responsibilities, is also included in this section. |
